Hi all , we plan to visit the Normandy beaches and museums next month . I am looking for some help and advice for sites . Ideally we want to be close to a town so we can hire a car for a few days . If this is not possible then sites near towns or villages

Thanks

In Bayeaux there is an aire we stayed at during the day for free, next to the Normandy Battle Museum a few days ago. An Overnight stay I think was 5 euro

Why not tour in your van and stop at a free Aires along the way. There is no shortage of overnight stopovers in France . Download Park4Night app to your smartphone.
