New Motorhome Parking / Service area Javea (1 Viewer)

I took these photos today of the new “El Campo” motorhome parking and service area.

Looks too restrictive to me. Can’t open a window !.

But here are the photos …

Not surprisingly we have not seen anyone in there yet.
The free water and dump was supplied by Javea and nothing to do with the restaurant, the restaurant is just cashing in.
We have used the free water and dump. Bob.

No resting or sleeping in summer with no windows open for me !

its long been the rules for "wild camping" in spain. not a problem if you have sliding windows like us

Far too expensive with restrictions like that.
We have stayed at a few Camper Parks in Spain normally €10-€13 with no restrictions just like basic camp sites.

If it is "parking " which it appears to be then yes step out constitutes camping . As does leaving your shoes outside or your bikes. Side opening windows has always been banned anywhere it is parking . You can open roof vents ,put up sat dish but cannot extend outside length or width of the actual vehicle.
the no stabilisers is correct but you can actually level up on ramps as vans & larger vehciles are required by law to have "chocs" which ramps are classed as & so you are able to use them.

I would say it is in Javea. It is not In Javea Old town or on the front line of the Beach. BUT !

The address is Cansalades, Javea/Xabia.

If you know the area, there are quite a few places you can overnight for free.

As I said, if am around, you can park outside my house. Or I can point you in the direction of somewhere to stay. Either close to the services or closer to town.

This is what I would expect . Cavalaire Plage Aire. €20 a night with EHU (2019). Some spots with sea view and it’s 50m to a stunning beach from the entrance. Awnings, chairs and open windows allowed.

Now the Townhall has eased restrictions and the site has been upgraded with gravel surface, lighting, electricity points and Wifi.
Tables and chairs all around the place, with a lovely garden setting.
It is still a PARKING, not a camping, so do not fold out your awning or start a barbeque.
Costs are 10 euros per day, electricity apart.
There is a cold shower, you have to be brave in winter but great in summer.
Small vegetable and fruit garden, selfservice and free for campers.

Message the manager by Whatsapp +34 – 634 36 39 68 (preferred) or phone for more information +34 – 96 577 06 13
Reservation is not needed, enter and park where you like.
The owner then passes at sunset for the payment.

Yes still there, but someone's backed into the service point and it needs rebuilding , they also broke the tap and a normal non threaded one has been fitted, so you need a watering can or similar and it's a slow process but still works. Bob.

Thanks Bob. We’re ok for water but do need to empty the loo and grey water. We will head over there later today. Thanks for your help.

Also window on the notice board would not be beyond the dimensions of our vehicle, as it would not stick out beyond the wing mirrors.

Skylights seem not to be prohibited.
