LOCHMABEN - STOP OVER (1 Viewer)

Hi. All.
We are planning to visit my elderly aunt who lives in Dunbar and will be travelling up to Scotland tomorrow evening, we are thinking of stopping over for the night to give us a break.
We have thought that Lochmaben would be nice, can anyone suggest somewhere that we can just turn up and park up for the night without booking as we will be arriving at about midnight.

As you come into Lochmaben from Lockerbie side you’ll pass castle loch on your left. Just as you enter the village you’ll see church on left, turn here then left again into car park next to bowling and tennis club. You’ll be fine there overnight

Better still is the council run caravan site…. Right by the Loch…Brilliant
