Careful of the trap with microwave ovens. There is "cooking power" and there is "power consumption" and they are nothing like the same thing.
A normal small microwave advertised as say 750W will actually drag way over 1000Watts from your inverter (or the mains). Standard advice is to use an inverter with a continuous power rating DOUBLE that of the cooking power rating of the oven.
Unless you have a lot of battery capacity, don't expect to use it for much more than warming up your wheatabix on a cold morning
