My Autosleeper fresh water tank has started to leak after nearly 28 years. Is there a product that can be added internally, if only to temporarily stop the leak, before going down the road to remove tank and repair, or replace ? A bit like ' RadWeld ', that we used to use on car radiators some years ago.

If the tank is accessible from the top through a largish bung and the water extracts from the top try fitting a big plastic bag inside. (y)
I wouldn't want to put anything like a red weld fix in it.

Can you see where it is leaking from and if so, can you reach the leak? I'm guessing that you can't otherwise you wouldn't be asking for something to add to the water to stop the leak but you never know . . . . ?

Plumbers use LS-X? to safely seal outside tanks, must have internal versions?

Since 2015, still learning
If you can identify where the leas is, could you try the 2part epoxy putty that you mix in your hand. Even cures under water.

I you can reach inside, smear some CT1 on the suspected area, works under water and works in swimming pools.

Can't remember ;)
As Raul says CT1 or Stixall from Toolstation - I used to let tank drain until it stopped -mark water level then seal a couple of ins above and below the mark šŸ˜‰šŸ‘

Water tank may be made out of polypropylene. Only very few adhesives work on polypropylene, I doubt putty will stick to it.
