How to remove sealant? (1 Viewer)

We're replacing the plastic guttering on one side of our Hymer B544 in an attempt to cure a leak.

Getting the old guttering off was pretty easy . However, removing the residual sealant in order to dry out the cavity, and reseal it when fitting the new guttering is proving challenging!

Can anyone recommend a product that will make the old sealant dissolve - or at least make it softer so that it can be scarped out?

Having tried several different silicone removers I have found take the Screwfix No Nonsense Silicone Remover is best and the cheapest.
