Hob extractor vent cowl replacement (2 Viewers)

The external circular plastic vent for the hob extractor fan on the MH has had enough UV and gone brittle. Does anyone know where to find a replacement? It’s a Rapido MH but I’m sure that parts like these must be generic?

Not at the moment but will post one asap.

It’s not the mushroom type though, it’s vertically mounted on the side of the van. I just can’t find anything online.

On my last van, I utilised a painted, upturned plant pot saucer.
It stopped the rain coming down the vent and I doubt anybody noticed.

That might very well be the one! Spot on. Once this rain stops I’ll get out and measure to make sure.

I thought I would post with the successful outcome, in case anyone else needs one of these.

Eventually obtained the correct part from Highbridge parts department for £3.38. Brilliant service; they delivered it from Somerset to the Devon branch for me to collect in person, so no postage.

The actual vent cowl is called "100mm round louvred vent" and the manufacturer part number is F525. The importer seems to be Crusader products.

Brownhills also has it available for £4.99 plus p&p.

Strangely, despite its name, there are no dimensions anywhere on it which are 100mm! (external diameter is 117mm, internal 93mm).

A search for "100mm louvred vent" turns up results. I was searching for 117mm vents, which didn't! Go figure!

I'm not sure who was in charge of naming the part at the main importer....Good on Highbridge Parts for having it in stock at a decent price.
