Avantgarde300
We have a 2005 Compass Avantgarde 300. The reversing light and the read fog light aren't working. Does anyone have an image or could tell me which relay these are connected to. Hubby has looked and has check th bulbs etc but he can't find any info as to which relay is for these.

We had a 2003 Autoquest 100. Lots of problems with the rear lighting clusters (poor earthing). Eventually I ran in a return in all the way from the battery and it solved the problem for good.... or at least until we traded it in.

Yeah we ended up putting a new wire in.
Once had a German bloke knocking on my window in roune traffic jam to tell me my brake lights weren't working.

Reversing light is only active only if you engage reverse gear. Reverse light switch is on the gearbox on 99% of all vehicles. Try look for a bulb type sensor with a spade connector. They do corrode.
For the fog light, run a temporary negative of the battery, turn on the switch and test if you got voltage.
As mentioned negative from chassis can corrode.

Rust on a connection seems the most likely cause. Still worth eliminating faulty lamps first then perhaps confirming fault by running a cable from earth on lamp unit to a good ground on chassis.
