I agree this is worth checking. The pumps is really a motor and pump. the motor can be running turning the "axle" but the impeller is broken or seals blown (by freezing) causing the water just to swirl in the pump..

Not a chance the system is full of glycol, so would not freeze

Ha ha.. the poor thing needs a little love and attention, no one has used the poor girl.
Just glad it's me that's got it otherwise someone would be very disappointed.
Been to TW today as the passenger side window needs attention.. it's got to come out and be replaced.. the new sort rarely go wrong apparently. Of course mine has .. but the two bits of good news are that it's covered under manufacturers warranty and 2 TW don't go anywhere near it as its a bonded window so a specialist glass company come over and do it.
I've got a good few quid to play with before i get anywhere near a dealer price though. So these little things are Sent to try us and its a beautiful van...

mmmm, yes you are correct, but nearly, very nearly... There was a dealer in Yorkshire somewhere who deals with the Pilotes, had a nice nearly new van in which we went to see, organised a deal on, only for him to say the Rapido was damp so we never bothered. ...
But, isn't the Pilote a cheap Rapido anyway?
