Strictly speaking it was yesterday but what the hec.

Our new to us van arrived at last. After meeting it in Spain with our friends on their winter tour, who happen to mention they were going to part ex it for a new Carthago S Plus, we started to think this might be our next van.

Anyways, long story short, after waiting for them to get back to Ireland, we bought it and Colin few over to collect it last Friday. We are now the proud owner of another Hymer (MLi 780) our 3rd one in our motorhoming history.

Just need to get the levellers fitted and we are ready to go. Can anyone recommend anyone other than SAP. Nothing against them, they are brilliant but have a waiting list going into the middle of June. This is not a massive problem, but if we can get them fitted sooner we would.

Also, would anyone reccomend the Amplo or the Mave systems?

Enjoy it.

Will you be able to keep the registration number with your Salford address? I see a lot of coaches around with Irish registration, but does it make complications with MOT?

Lovely looking van guys.

The reg plate originates in Eire, I don’t think you’ll be able to keep that number in the UK, without an address in Eire, since we are no longer in the EU.

Colin & Sandra if you’d like a Northern Ireland registration however, I can sell you LDZ 5665, if you’re interested. 👍

Try A&E Leisure in Northwich, they were a decent amount cheaper than SAP for VB Full air for our van. They do levelling as well.

Nice try Ken, that is definitely a NI plate!

Salford? Who lives in Salford, not me. But in answer to your question, yes we can keep it as it is a Northern Ireland reg.

It's a beauty, no doubt. Get a decent meaningful plate on it and you'll be good to go. Above all, get a visible theft deterrent on it (wheel clamp etc.) to avoid attention from others who might covet your lovely new possession. Cheers! Enjoy!

I saw Ireland and the Euro stars on the front plate and assumed it was Southern Ireland.

You should be fine then, when you’re calling for YUI.
🍻🥃🍷🍹🥂🍸

Pity the plate isn’t TUI, I know the UK chairman personally. 🤑 His Mum & Dad were our next door neighbours.
