For a year or more we see green lacewing insects on the roof or wall of the interior. Usually one or two. Since being in Spain and last night there where five!! Anyone else had these and suggestions how to get rid please? Reading about them they come out at sunset and dawn in their natural environment so they’re hiding somewhere

We had loads for a while but now see hardly any I'd be especially careful to remove all traces of anything that could be food for them. Ours seemed worse after we had a leak from a pain chocolat in the grill.

Seemed to a regular plague of them each year. Those, thunderflies and lady birds were an annual scourge. But last year I got none of them. Well a few thunderflies but not many. didn't see a single lacewing and very, very few lady birds.
The hot weather appears to have done them in round here for at least one season.

PS: Lincolnshire not spain though.
