Fuel prices plumetting

It's fine in the short term but reflects the economy at the moment. Quite undersndable given how little fuel must be left over at the moment

May be the oil companies will start using their patents for alternative fuels and powertrains.

A lot of good it does me at the moment! Filled up at Alencon Intermarché, nearly empty now i'm home, but I'm told I'm going nowhere for a few weeks (months?).

Asda said that will be the price while crisis is on and others have followed

The question is will I get pulled if I go to Tesco in the MH ;-)

£1.019 per litre for unleaded and £1.089 for diesel in Morrisons this morning.
Richard

They don't happen to sell grocery items in this Tesco place your talking about?
They do I was being flippant ;-)

I need to top up the car and i'll go back with the MH afterwards...

Heating oil isn't cheaper.

You would here in Spain ours has gone down again this week now €92.7 ? about 84 pence, and we cant go and get it. ?
Could in the car and that's petrol and same price. ? Bob.

I think someone said that people were panic buying it and the suppliers were struggling to cope so maybe that's keeping the price up

A couple of weeks ago it was the cheapest it's been for years. Since then it's gone up about 10p per litre. The increase in demand is probably partly explained by 'stockpiling' and partly by people being holed up at home and therefore needing more to keep the house warm during the day.

36ppl or so around my area,a lot cheaper than 6 months ago. But they’re still making shed loads of money out of rural folk who don’t have the option of gas........coz there is no gas! And we have no government body to regulate the price of home heating oil.

I think there was a post on here the other day saying the fuel supplies were asking only people who really needed it ought to order but the tanker drivers were finding when they got there that the tank was still 3/4 full. I think a lot of people are probably doing the same with fuel and topping up their cars sooner than they usually would but theres so little travel that there's loads around.

See boiler Juice normally reasonable for this area.

Apparently the oil producers are running out of space to store it.
Old tankers are being brought out of retirement, just to fill with crude and moor offshore for storage.
OPEC and Russia had a spat and fell out, both refusing to cut production.
I wonder who`ll blink first ?

Why not ? It is one of the exemptions on the list attending fuel station to fill up.
There are so many road checks, you need a good reason and a permit or a shopping list and where your going, if your somewhere off route you will get fined ,then when they checked your shopping list if you have been already they check you ID, they did find a load of marijuana yesterday, if I was in the motorhome they would probably give me the once over because they make it so you don't really want to go out. ? Bob.

Yes I just filled up today in javea at same garage while I was there two Motorhomes pulled in to fill up.
Are you on Spanish plates, they are hard on us, even cyclist and dog walkers have been fined, anyone that should be heading home they will not have a problem because they want them to go home. ?
Bob.
