Will your van need strengthening on the rear wall where the rack fixes, if so, can you get access on the inside. I looked into this on my van some years ago but due to part of the rear wall being the shower where I couldn’t get access for a spreader bar, I discounted it. The motion of the rack puts a lot more stresses on the (top) fixings than ordinary racks.

19 month year 18000 miles UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Italy. Campsites and off Grid.
It will be no different to the manual - just less effort! No idea how good the motor is but it would need to be strong to lift my 2 electric bikes.

I have the manual 77 on my 727G Lyseo. Fitted by Camper UK. Mounts are 2 inside the garage and 2 in the rear bedroom overhead storage cupboards. Of course they would need to find power too.

Ive got 12V feed in the garage but the installers have warned me they may have to go to the battery for a feed .
