Dealer Obligations Under Warranty (4 Viewers)

All the dealers I have spoken to have moaned that warranty work is not worth their while because the manufacturers dont pay enough!!!

OK: what happened in the end was: dealer cannibalised a door catch from a van they had in stock, couriered it down to us (thanks Chelston!) & we took it to the local repairer. They've fixed it and the door is now much BETTER than new (closed gently without slamming). No dramas, no "ooh-err-that'll cost you", they just get on with it.
As a treat we let them wash the van. (That's a treat to US not to them!)
