We are off travelling and was wondering if anyone can suggest an USB hub that will allow us to charge at least 2 phones and two tablets, at the same time..

We can charge 2 iPads and 2 iPhones up at the same time but only because I have at least 8 separate usb sockets scattered around the van all coming of the leisure batteries.

This looks like the latest version of my charger. They are good quality, aluminium with off switch and these have got the C socket đź‘Ť

I got a couple of these last year and they work as expected. They do what they are supposed to do.

Agree that a battery bank is well worthy of having as you just never know !

Although I have 6 USB sockets in the van I often use my power bank it has 3 outputs and can act as a pass through when on charge. Mine is a Charmast.

To get the large number of ports you need mains voltage. The best I found for 12v was the Aukey which is now unavailable

Seems daft using a 12v battery to a mains connection via an 240v inverter to step down to 12v to charge USB devices - assuming you are off grid. No problems if you have an EHU, you could use one of these:
Amazon product ASIN B0B2LH9YWV
But off grid, I would think the best option is to use the cab cigarette lighter and the hab one (assuming there is one) and use two of these. ( but you may need the engine running for the cab charger)
