Anyone use one of these & had good results? We've got the paella pan for our Cadac & use it for all sorts & was wondering if i'd be able to cook a pizza in it but see that the Pizza Stones are only £10.
Had one for yrs and regularly make our own pizzas, we put greaseproof paper between the stone and pizza base so no burning. Get the stone really hot,say 10 mins min before u put pizza on

My cadac and pizza stone are great, use the flat plate for heat distribution. Semolina flour on stone. Usually buy pizza dough then create our own. Son does not like cheese. Works great maybe I am lucky. My cadac with all accessories including an unused pizza stone were left out in the street, asked the owner if he was getting rid of them he said yes just take them. Had for 2 yrs now and I love it.

How well does it cook on the frying pan bit, I've never tried it on that 🤔

They were fine. Maybe the ‘circulation holes’ around the outside help to create a decent ‘pizza oven’ effect so the base doesn’t get too hot on its own? If I was going to do it regularly (our Cobb is mainly used for BBQ/roasting) then I’d investigate getting a suitable diameter stone to fit in above the grilling grid.

I used to do them on the roasting rack (same for part baked rolls) but my partner cant eat gluten now and the gluten free ones didnt come out right on the rack, I got the stone and it's perfect for them...I will have to try the pan 👍

Just buy frozen pizzas from Tesco, 69p each, and cook them in the oven, in a large lidded frying pan etc, they come out a treat - one does both of us with a bit of salad etc.

While away we had a pizza night 5 adults, one vegan, one dairy allergy, used the pizza stone but had forgotten my flour for the stone, note, crushed weetabix does not work. Cooked the vegan and dairy free pizza on the cadac, and the ready made pizzas in the grande remoska, we couldn't all eat at the same time, but that was to be expected, they were all tasty. Will try the greaseproof paper trick next time. Never tried the 69p pizzas Minxy but then i rarely go to Tesco, must give it a try Thanks for the tip.

First attempt on a Cadac 40 with a pizza stone (that we already had).
Just an Aldi sundried tomato and mozzarella specially selected one but it turned out really nice.

Excuse my legs!
Last night at Weymouth Rugby Club.

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
One of the good things about cadac pizzas is being able to cook another pizza immediately and it will be ready PDQ!!

It means they can be sliced and shared with a group/family and make an extending dining experience. Bit of pizza, bit of chat, bit of wine, but more pizza and repeat.

Bought a cadac   that had one included, burnt one pizza on it then it cracked and fell into two pieces.
As good as anything to do with cadacs.
You have to have a diffuser to put over the flame before you put the Lizza stone on. No diffuser and you will crack the stone more often than not

It's a common mistake ..... And it WILL crack your pizza stone. The pizza stone needs to heat up evenly - you should be using the cadac flat plate. You will find that the pizza stone sits nicely inside it and is held in place.
Don't forget to use semolina flour to prevent the puzzle sticking to the pizza stone and dint immerse the stone in water when cleaning it.

Just need an elegant solution for easily mounting it on the motorhome once pitched up where there is clear sky rather than sitting it on the floor and running out the cable.
