100 metres could be long way with a couple of kayaks if the path is steep, what's it like pleaseSeconded for Clachtoll.
We were there in August with a rented motorhome and the place is beautiful. The beaches are stunning with lovely sand dunes to sit in and watch the sun go down. And all this 100m from the campsite!
This photo is the second beach (10 minute walk) with the campsite in the background. There was a sandcastle-making competition on that day. We chose to avoid that and had the second beach all to ourselves for most of the day.

In May we stayed at Camping La Garrofa - 2.5 miles west of Almeria city, southern Spain. Pitched directly adjacent to the shore for €16 (call that £12.95 in Sterling) inc hook-up, on this lovely little ACSI site. Could hear the water lapping on the beach as we drifted off to sleep, and the view of the moonlight shinning on the sea from our bed was a sight to behold. Bus stop at the entrance to go into town.

Am new to MHF so hope you don't mind me putting my 2 pennyworth in.
Stayed at La Garrofa for 3 weeks in October 2012 having taken a week to get down there from Santander. I totally agree with "mikebeaches" in all that he says. We pitched up at the bottom left of the site as you face the sea, with the rear of the bus against the chain link fence. Two sets of chairs, one under the awning for the afternoon drinkies, and the other set we left behind the fence 10 feet away on the beach. This set was where we had breakfast of a morning. Moonlight shinning on the sea at La Garrofa, O YES.! Hoping to be doing it this coming February.
