As a newby campervan owner (Aug 21) but fairly decent cook I have decided to attempt the full deal for Christmas. Picture of Dottie's kitchen for reference!

Menu

Breakfast - Soft scrambled eggs with Pigs in Blankets

Lunch - Seafood spectacular

Dinner - Duck crown with confit legs, roasted veg, creamed sprouts and spiced cabbage

Supper - Cheese board, Florentines and sweets

Wish me luck... I may update with pics if anyone is interested!

Top tip: don't forget to pack a oven thermometer to ensure your stuff cooks at the correct temperature.

PS are you taking table bookings? :xThumb:
Ahhh but the potential for food poisoning is part of the fun... Isn't it?!!

Last year we cooked some of the Christmas dinner in the motorhome because the oven in the house was full. Itā€™s a better oven in the motorhome than the house one.

Blowing a literal hoolie!! But we made it... Change of gas bottle (we can only carry babies!), at the last second and the crown is a touch over for my tastes but... Yum!

Good luck. Looks fab. I have never felt the necessity to cater to a lower standard in the van than I would at home. The key question has to be, 'would I be happy if this were to be my last meal' ? šŸ˜Ž

So Easy Peasy then... looks like you had good day.. IMV cooking in 'van is shied away from by a lot of folk who don't think it is possible.... Yes it is nice to go out to eat when on holiday but it is equally as nice to stay in and create your own.
