Is it a Vanbitz alarm? They only beep if there is a malfunction on arming. If it is silent it is working. It normally flashes quickly for 30 seconds, then pulses slowly thereafter. Just arm it and let it settle then open a door. It is always a good idea to do that every so often anyway to check your sensors.

You can have silent arm, which may be operating if there is an issue with the fob. If you push the panic (boot release) button and then the arm button arming is silenced.

On the autowatch you can set it not to beep for silent alarming. I will see if i can find it in the manual.
