We have an Adria Matrix Supreme 670DL with twin fixed beds.

We want to add the insert mattress to convert it into a double, but cannot work out where the ladder attaches so that you can climb onto the bed, or can the fixed steps be used in some way?

Can anyone help please?

Thanks.

Also do you have a drop down bed?
I have a Platinum Matrix with the twin fixed beds
The built in steps are used to get into the beds whether just the 2 beds or when using the additional central section
The ladder is for use with the electric drop down & also to attach to the bottom of the fixed exterior rear ladder for access to the roof

We do have the drop down double bed and the ladder works well with that and the rear ladder for roof access.

The steps are fine when not using the central section, but when we install the central section, it covers the steps so getting up to the bed is difficult. During our handover, we were told that the ladder should work, but I think that was wrong. There is nothing to attach it to.

Sorry for the delay.
The 'drawer' which extends to make the large bed has 2 options.
1st - Pull out as far as the stopper studs which lock into the notches on either side of the drawer. This leaves the bottom step usable to get onto bed.
2nd - If you pull the drawer right out then, no, the steps are not available but also the 2 small mattresses which fit on the drawer between the single beds only cover as far as the 1st shorter option.

Thanks, so much for this information, Nonna

Our bed configuration might be slightly different from yours. We can pull out the 'drawer' as far as the stopper blocks (not studs), but when we put the mattress insert onto the extended drawer, the distance from the first step to the top of the mattress insert is too big to climb onto the bed, which seems odd.

Maybe your Platinum model has been better designed than ours :giggle:
