Larry, I'm sure you know that the small deer is a muntjac but do you know that their absolute all time favourite scoff is flower bulbs and bluebell bulbs in particular. To deter, place fishing line with cans half full of stones on obvious routes.........they usually devastate someone else's garden then.
Thanks Bertie, we also get the odd Roe deer and the Wife likes to watch them from the window , when she's out of bed that is

The grass is always greener on the other sideNeighbours spent 2 hours fixing their fence and setting up a new electric fence to keep this lot out of our paddock.
This afternoon, they were looking well pleased with themselves after they escaped......again....
