By now the rain was back. It was forecast for the next two weeks. The plan was to go to Pula next at the tip of Istria. The campsite was a few miles away from the town and as the rain was due to get heavy we would have got drenched.

Not far down the coast from Novigrad is Porec. It is one of the few places we found an Aire, whats more it was free. We wanted to visit but didn't want to stay as the next place was only a few mile further down so we parked in the aire and popped into town.
