I liked that it still has it's upright pole so it can be plugged into the street lights.

Me being a member of the Government's Brains Trust Boards,( they were desperate ) I thought it might be a way to overcome the overnight charging of EV's problem

With three promotions over the intervening forty years it would appear that they think you're doing a great job!

Might be worthwhile telling them you've had a word with your boss and, seeking to assist in their cost reduction agenda, he's agreed to voluntary redundancy! Lump sum would come in helpful what with the freezing weather.
