Don't forget all you bikers out there, WSB starts this weekend, Phillip Island, I can come out of hibernation at last, shame I'll be in Gran Canaria from tomorrow, so will have to watch it when we come home.

WSB has lost its sparkle for me.
Prefer BSB and Moto GP these days.

Whilst I’ll probably still watch, I’m with you here, WSB seems to have lost its mojo a bit in recent years in comparison to BSB and MotoGP.

Let’s hope that the new rules tighten up the competition, judging by testing though, seems like status quo.
I too prefer Moto GP and BSB.,and classic racing.!

Hope our daughter can record it as we are away. There’s always highlights if she doesn’t

That is true, we had a round at Donington with WSB & I thought it would be a great experience, it turned out to be nothing special, spectator wise nothing like BSB, we couldn't but our finger on the reason why though.

The dominance of Kawasaki in the last few years turns some off, despite its well deserved. A good scrap and an Italian marque winning it might help with popularity.

Hopefully Chaz can ramp it up this year.

Nobody cares.. I haven't watched a WSB race for ages , I get that Johnny Rea is a class act, but the fact that he is up against Chaz Davies, and Tom Sykes means its hard to get excited like we did for Foggy against Scott Russell , and Frankie Chili .

And the format of splitting the races over 2 days was the nail in the coffin for me, does nothing for the show at all, at least you would get 3 good races on the sunday , now its all filler .

Moto GP on tv and MXGP for my trips out, win on both fronts.

I fitted some AC systems at Tom Sykes House, he showed me an awesome kawasaki in his garage, think he said it was 40 odd grand  nice lad.

One of these?

An H2R.

Could have been but I thought it was greener than that, he said it was hand painted at the factory.

Edit: just googled it, yes that's it, supercharged.

well i missed the first race, have a mate racing in WSS so might try and catch that.

WSB is BACK.

Some of the best/tightest racing I've seen, bring it on.

Fifth win at Phillip Island for the Champion.

Just watched all THREE races. More competitive than I expected plus a new winner. That's all I'm going to say.

plus a new winner.

Hell of a rider, I think there are a lot of very worried people in the paddock. Did you see how the thing tried to throw him off every time down the straights and he kept it nailed. 200 mph and a tank slapper, every lap.

I know Rea was under the weather but it augurs well for a competitive season.
