All in all I would say if a large group want to get together and have a good time with no restrictions ideal, but for a relaxing break with small children not ideal.

We used to regularly winter there years ago when it was quite nice and well kept. It has gone consistently downhill over recent years. Whilst the concert may be okay, do not expect anything else, especially if you get the lot from the site up the road. Doubt anything has changed, but they used to set themselves up as the Confederates and the Union, and the only thing on the cards was the thought of a few good pitched battles, even the police used to keep away.
