I noticed this defect on the control panel screen. The van is under one year old. The dealer has to always ask the manufacturer who in turns tries to get away with it. What would you do? Screen defect.webp

Insist on a new screen.
They always use that answer as they don't get paid if the manufacturer doesn't agree.

Under sale of goods act or whatever they call now your contract and warranty is with the dealer up to 1 year old. So even if the manufacturer refuses you should insist and the dealer will have to pay for it.

100% claim under warranty, your screen which looks like LCD is delaminating and will eventually go blank or certainly fail.

Your contract is with whoever sold it to you and not the manufacturer. 👍

Not Brownhills is it, they'll do anything to get out of sorting stuff out in my experience.
No, unfortunately it seems to be the norm rather than an exception.

Yes Claim while you still can, but I guess like most of us experience with these things it will take ages to get replaced.
Good luck in getting it replaced quickly, cant see how anyone could wriggle out of this being a warranty claim inside 12 months.
