So after today 6 more shifts to work and then……..RETIREMENT!!!!!!

My retiral date is 9/12, my 66th Birthday! + state pension date,
but when all accrued leave and lieu days taken into account 5th Sept is my last day at work.

Aye train drivers have a habit of retiring then dying, but I packed in the driving 8 years ago and became a conductor then went 2 days a week so I’m hoping tapering down will mitigate that
