Important Info

From M4 Junction 18
Take the A46 towards Stroud. After 2 miles you will arrive at a traffic light controlled junction by the Cross Hands Hotel.
Turn left at the junction (A432) and then immediately U turn around the island, (please pay close attention as to what other drivers are doing). Hill Lane is immediately on the left hand side. (See below for an alternative to the U turn.) Please zoom into the map to study this in more detail and approach Hill Lane carefully as there may be other traffic, horses or pedestrians in this area. The entrance to the site is by way of a field gate approximately 200 metres on the left. Look for a red mirror on the right hand bank and the entrance is opposite.

Two ways of approaching this junction, for the confident drivers when you reach the Cross Hands Hotel in Old Sodbury turn right at the lights onto the A432 and then immediately do a U turn around the island, (please pay close attention as to what other drivers are doing). Alternative to the U turn
Instead of making the U turn, simply carry on down the hill towards the village. In approximately half a mile the road widens to a dual carriageway on the right hand side and, as you enter the 30mph limit, you can turn right into Church Road and use the wide mouth of the junction to turn around and come back up the hill. (If you miss this turn, don’t worry as there is a roundabout another mile or so down the road.)
