Not necessarily, I'm with Direct Line and a few years ago my car was rear ended by a white van. DL judged it as a no fault claim which was totally recovered and my premium did not and has not gone up since.

I should qualify this by saying that there may have been a small inflation increase in my premium but no penalty was applied as a result of the claim. Because of this I have stayed with DL, also for their excellent repair arrangements.

It’s been parked up since september(ish) 2019, perhaps it’s not big enough to see in the DAYlights ??

Our first ever trip after purchasing and went to the local Tesco filling station.A 4X4 ran straight into the back of us whilst I was filling up .He said he hadn't noticed the MH !. He also learnt some new words direct from me.
Made for an even more nervy trip to the ferry than I had imagined!

Must have changed then as when I put in a claimsome years back the council put there insrance company on to me. I told them to *** off as it wasn't anything to do with insurance just the council failing in its duty to repair the roads. made them pay for it.
