Hi all, just a quick sanity check/ confirmation question. I Have purchased a renogy inverter and will install soon, once the Lithium arrives. So wiring up …my thoughts. The AC input for auto switchover I will wire directly to the BCA PDU mains inlet RCD from the Renogy AC input connector, and then the AC outlet from the Renogy to the the sockets MCB on the BCA PDU unit. Is this how others have installed? On a Compass CV20, Thanks Craig.

Don't know how a compass is wired but I would wire the output via a separate RCD and connect to just the sockets in the van and rewire the fridge & charger so they can only run via the EHU input.

When I did mine I took the supply from the 16amp MCB to the input 13amp plug on the inverter, then the supply from the inverter's 13amp socket to the wires previously connected to the MCB. This gives power from EHU or the inverter to all the sockets in the van. I switch off the inverter when on EHU but even if on the inverter will use the straight through function if power is available.
