I have just bought an adapter to connect my phone to the vehicle without plugging it in. I've only just set it up but it is working perfectly. Lazy I know, but it should save a bit of hassle

It is easier and can be very convenient when moving the phone. We have wireless Android Auto build in on the Ducato Uconnect head unit. However, if you plug your phone in anyway to charge it, there is little benefit!

Do you have a link for that? I charge mine wirelessly and it's a cable faff to get Android auto.
