I'm a newbie
Hi I bought a 03 Bessacarr e445 last march and I have been away over Xmas/new year. As I was using the wipers a lot , I decided to check the water container for the wipers, to my surprise it was full?? My question is does it feed of the habitation water container as I am baffled to why it was full.
Thanks in advance

Washer bottle is tucked under the scuttle lefthand side of the engine. It's not easy to fill but has a pull up neck to ease filling

Arrowed is the windscreen washer fill point, the one with the little water fountain on the blue cap.

You can't usually see what level the washer bottle is at because it is hidden and, unless you have sensor and warning signal, won't know without filling it up. It doesn't matter how much you put in it will come up the tube when full. The other bottle shown in the photo with orange liquid in is the reservoir for engine coolant and has clear max and min limits. Don't put screen wash in this bottle! Similarly the smaller bottle with a yellow cap is for hydraulic brake fluid. It could be catastrophic if you contaminate this!

On our 2001 Fiat based motorhome the windscreen washer bottle is near the air filter

Can you add a photo of what you checked?
Mike.
