This will be our first winter with our Elddis Encore 250. We emptied tanks last week and it is only now that I have found the rocker switch for the tank heaters… and it was in the ‘on’ position… is this likely to have done any damage
So annoying that this switch was not mentioned at handover and we were overwhelmed with loads of information at the time so never even thought of it!😳🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s only since looking on this forum that I have found the rocker switch … so many thanks fir those who have answered previous member’s enquiries 👍🏻👏🏻

If it is possible, make sure the water pump is drained. Last winter I thought I had drained everything and did not drain the pump. First sign of spring, the little filter cap popped off. Much later the pump leaked and was replaced in Spain. Filter £14, Pump 90euros.
Finally leave all taps set between hot and cold turned on.

The tank heaters are on a thermostat and although the switch is in the on position, the heaters are unlikely to produce heat unless the temperature goes below the temperature the thermostat is set at which I believe is 5Deg C.
