Has anyone got any info on the December January set up in Spain or Portugal. We have , up till covid gone to albufeira for Xmas and new year , previous to that almafra in Benidorm . Dont want to end up been ” Billy no mates “ over Xmas and new year.

If you're only going for Xmas and new year then it won't be any different! The days will just come off your 90 in 180 days.

Spain, Spain, Spain.
Portugal is next to the Atlantic and will be cold and wet in the winter. Most seasoned motorhome people head for Benidorm in the winter. Its generaly the best part of Spain to overwinter on although the odd few will argue against it

Sorry I wasn’t enquiring about length of stay or the weather. I was wondering about the campsites and the set up regarding December/ January . There are normally rallies on etc , what with covid im thinking has anything changed on the sites at albufeira or almafra or any other for that matter and if yes then what? Thanks

Certain parts of Portugal have a climate equal to Benidorm and Eastern Spain.
We have been in the sun in Tavira whilst Benidorm has been flooded and of course vice versa,.
We have spent the last16 years spending Jan, Feb and March in Iberia in many different locations and it can be wet and windy everywhere.
I would add that the Western Atlantic coast of Portugal is more prone to wind and rain but not usually the devastating floods that occur on the Spanish Med coast.

You might have to compete with the great number of German, Dutch and French who are currently here in their thousands...might be worth asking the two clubs in the UK if they are running the Winter Sun Rallies if not...then no worries about being overrun with UK tourists, we see very few just now...come and enjoy your Christmas here in Spain....

The Algarve has really good weather, fewer English, but not sure about the campsites.

LOL! I was right ! I've been a member for so long now, I just know how others are going to respond when a question like that is asked. It could have been worse I suppose the OP could have asked for members views on FLT's :rofl::rofl:

The C&MC are holding winter rallies at Allania Resorts ( formerly Camping Marjal) and Camping La Manga
Also Turiscampo in Portugal
I’m led to believe they are nearly all fully booked
