Greetings
I'd be grateful for your preferences of sites between Calais and Saltzburg ish open during the Winter.
We have used
Camping Petite Suisse Belgium - not bad, v cold weather when we went and some black ice on approaching roads. V quiet but good facilities for a night.
Knaus camp Koblenz - good site with great view across to Rhine/Moselle elbow plus can walk into town. But rivers can get scarily high and high water affects 'leccy.
International campingplatz Pielenhofen - friendly as I remember and can walk into echte Bavarian village.
Not too fussed re price as much as facilities and ease of use.
It can be pretty dull to arrive via narrow icy roads and find yourself alone on a muddy building site.
Ta!
