Windscreen Wipers Stuck in Middle Issue

Hi there, we have a problem with our windscreen wipers. Everything is working but the wipers remain in the middle of the windscreen after turning them off.
wiper motor is working, fuses are good, all checked by our local garage. The problem started spontaneously for no apparent reason.

we live in rural france so it's not easy to get information.

Grateful for any ideas.

There is a little contact inside the motor to allow it to run to the park position. This may have become out of sink. With the wipers on try turning the ign off when wipers are close to the park position. Then turn ig on and see if they go back to the middle. You could remove the blades when they stop and put them back on at the park position for now.

Probably the park contact has come loose, I had the same on my previous motorhome, you need to remove the motor and re-solder the contact. I did a thread about it years ago on here, I’ll try and find it and put a link to it.

If they do this all of the time, without fail, take them off any move them around om the spindles to the correct place.
