Off on out first trip in the morning, and i need to clean my Rapido 8086df. Especially the windscreen, as its covered in sand. The question is, how do you pull the wiper blades off the screen? The bonnet seems to be in the way. Thanks

Different van, but I do.

I also release them and turn them in cold periods! Experience of finding them frozen to the glass?

I put some small bore pipe lagging over the blades, when leaving it stood for a few weeks, stops it freezing and getting covered in pine needles in my driveway

I live in Spain, never seen frost and ice since I've been here. When you bend the blade joint , the bonnet is in the way.

Just looked at a picture of your MH. Do you have to open the bonnet so that the wiper arms pull out ?

Our car is similar, we just wash the rest of the screen and lift the blades the inch or so that they are able to be lifted, and clean under them.

On my Golf you flick the wipers and turn the ignition off. The blades stop in the vertical position where they can be pulled away from the screen. I've not tried that on our Pilote as they can be pulled away when at rest but it might work.

On my Citroen, I switch off ignition then flick wiper stalk, this parks the wipers vertically for maintenance.
