citroen relay camper
Hi All just joined and feeling my way, just bought a used 2014 Citroen Relay campervan it is very nice but wife now wants the windows privatised.
We would like the windows so we can see out through the day and from the outside looking in dark/tinted but unable to see through could one of you van or mos help

I used plastic screen tint from flea bay to do a mitsubishi Delica and was surprised how good it was to fit. It was also very resilliant.
Sold the car 4 years later and the tint was still perfect.
For a cost base films are cheap and you can choose how much tint you want. 10% down to 90%

Welcome to Motorhome Fun.
What we do for the privacy my wife likes. The window blinds slide up from the bottom leaving fly screen mesh that lets light through but not easy to see through from the outside where they look white. As most motorhomes are higher off the ground than a car, you do not really need tinted windows to cut down on interior light.

Are the windows plastic or glass ?

Glass can have tinted film applied .. for a top job, better done professionally at a car window tinting company.

But not plastic.. when I enquired at a tinting company who did the rear windows in my car.. they said plastic expands and contracts so the tinting film often bubbles... so they don't do it..
