What do you do to clean this off? The soft, brushy type material can be a bit of an eye sore when it gets its green look! Can I use a solvent of some kind or just water and a soft tooth brush? Ideas please.

Water, car wash shampoo and a kitchen washing up brush for mine.

Tooth brush - if on rubber just water, if on metal/plastic any car cleaner - and more than twice a year.

Even better is an Oral B electric toothbrush, saves a lot of manual scrubbing - but don't tell SWMBO as she doesn't know I use hers! 😲

I get the hosepipe on 'jet/centre' setting and spray it close up to the moss - you'd be surprised how comes out with doing just that! Then I get a toothbrush with neat shampoo on and scrub the remainder off, then another spray to remove any residue.

Morrisons thin bleach! At 80 p a 2 litre bottle ....A bargain. Before anyone rants off and goes on a mission stating it damages the rubber....No it does not! Used it on my motorhome and my cars. It cleans off any moss growth in no time and because its the thin stuff...Not Domestos thick bleach! That stuff does most things in! ....The Thin Bleach does no harm to the rubber seals or the fine material looking like velour on the trim. Actually got the idea from a carpet cleaner man! He used it to remove a stain on the carpet. He stated quite clearly that if it were to mark in anyway whatsoever...he would gladly pay for my carpet to be replaced. Did not get a new carpet! Not a problem. Job was done and the mark gone . Used his idea since on a lot of little hiccups! Really is good for killing off Algae and moss build up on the seals if the truck is left long enough for it to develop.
Funnily enough he told me to use Jif cream on the paint too.....Been a godsend honest!

Regards Kev....Personal choice of mine and I use it often. :giggle:;)(y)

I find any citrus orange concentrated cleaner diluted 10/20 to 1 in a trigger bottle cleans most grime & mould off the van. Just spay on leave for a minute then use a soft car washing brush to agitate, then rinse with hose. My citrus cleaner cleans everything arround the house, paintwork, walls, and especially the white UPC gutters & down pipes, bargain at £5/6 a gallon (Amazon or Flea Bay) which lasts many years.
I also carry a pump up spray bottle in the van garage to clean the muck & bugs off the van skirts on arrival to destination, spray and wipe off with a micro-fibre cloth or three.(y)
