Long story how I managed it but I have cracked the outer plastic window(it's double glazed) Hubby is not not tight but just believes in trying to repair before buying new. Any advise if it can be done and what best to use. Its cracked at the top by the hinge. Thanks in advance and no photos as not sure how to upload 🙃

You can try to glue it with acrylic glue, but I guarantee it will fail again. Often as you drive down the road and lose the window. Replacement is never as straight forward as you might hope either. Your best bet is have one made by eeco-ltd.co.uk but they are not cheap

The problems are that no windows are standard size and although might start life tinted one colour, the sun will change that rapidly. Making a new window match the others is never simple unless it is made to match

Or if you lucky there’s a eBay seller that sells second hand ones, usually caravan ones but sometimes motorhome ones

Hope this works top right hand by the hinge.

You can try drilling a small hole (sharp HSS drill and very slow speed) at each end of the crack. If done correctly it will stop the crack spreading. Then fill it with clear silicon. It will always be visible though.

Next thing you will notice is it will get condensation in it, especially in colder days/nights

What meanders said but you could try super glue and bicarbonate of soda instead of silicone. Perhaps open up the crack into a V shape but not too big. Won't be pretty but maybe put off forking out for a new window.
Lookup the fix on YouTube.

Ps. U need the window flat on a surface to stop the s/glue running everywhere.

I used superglue on mine, it's not pretty but they've not spread any further.

Ours cracked along the top, tried sealing with glue but didn’t work and actually filled with water , had to drill holes in bottom to let water out

Just changed ours this year with one from Eeco, very good but as said not cheap

Our biggest window failed along the bottom sealed edge, it got ‘bodged’ and taped with clear waterproof sellotape and lasted years but the weather got into it and we eventually admitted defeat and got a new one as the old one was getting very ‘misty’.
It was expensive then I expect now will be even more expensive!
