Hi everyone, does anyone know of a windbreak say 1m ish high that utilises the upright poles on a wind out awning? My thinking is its a couple less poles to bang in / guy ropes to attach and may save a bit of weight / bulk inside van when not used.

Lily pad leisure do lightweight screens that fit to the awning . Not cheap but work very well and weight nothing.

I like your style, but have no idea.
Good idea though. (y)

If you have an old Singer sewing machine it would be easily made with a length canvas ..or you could modify a standard windbreak ..

frankly I don't really see a benefit.. at best you are saving on two poles and would still need at least another three poles.. perhaps four depending on the length..

also, when you go out, or retire for the evening, you would need to dismantle to wind in the sunshade.. a normal windbreak can be left out all night .. a sunshade not, unless you feel lucky .. 🤞

Lilypad Leisure has had to close down due to illness, They have a lot of stock that they are clearing out, and I've just ordered a set at half-price, hopefully the quality will be good!
I've got a copy of their clearance list if anyone wants it.

I have sent my email by text for the list
SALE.SALE.SALE !!!!
We are having a HUGE clear out of items (around 300) that either have been cancelled because customers suddenly changed their motor homes
or made in error or items that because of the shade we can't make a set of them and many other reasons some will be as much as 75% reduction on normal prices If you would like us to send you the list either email us atlillypadleisure@aol.com or text your email address to 07708770028

Hopefully, it is on the link below...... (edit - if you want the actual Excel file pm me as it appears to have just embedded it?)

They are out of the extending poles and I've just bought lines 41&143. I've never bought from them before so hopefully mine will turn up. It's a shame they are no longer producing as the product looks to be quite good and reasonably priced.

My Lilypad leisure wind blocker turned up today, very pleased with it. Light weight, easy to assemble and well made, I need to get some better poles as the ones I bought to go with it (extending shower poles) are sagging a bit. Thinking that decorators poles might be a stronger option.

Just need a holiday now to test in action😁
