Where can I buy a wind deflector for my solar panel? This image is the wind deflector in front of the roof vent and a 1250mm length of it would be perfect for the solar panel.

I think you have got a point about leaving it alone. The panel is mounted long edge (1250mm) facing front and I was worried that it might fly away at 60mph against a high wind. Only time will tell. Thanks to all for your help.

I have used these to try and reduce the chance of the panel flying off. They have a very wide foot which hopefully means are are anchored well to the roof.

I use these too. Aerodynamic and plenty of footprint for good adhesion.

I have a panel mounted with its long side across the van , I just put an extra bracket in the middle front and back.
No issues so far.

What a coincidence, I am already using these mounting/spoilers on my other two panels, which have the narrow end facing forward. However, it appears that having wind pass under and over the panel at the same time will stop them from being lifted up. So, unless this turns out to be wrong I will not bother with a wind deflector. Thanks to all for your advice.

Even when my panel has the aerofoil brackets back and front I add a couple of the small ally brackets too. My panels run back to front not across the roof.
