Currently staying at Morn Hill Club campsite, which feels like a brand new site.

Biiiigggg pitches, very modern heated shower block with big cubicles, extremely hot, powerful water 👍
Attached laundry facilities, both sinks and machines along with washing up sinks.
Ultra friendly staff.

Bus stop 5 minute walk away, busses into Winchester every 30 minutes until after 5pm, then every hour until after 11 pm, both ways. (Five minute journey)

Winchester Christmas Market is excellent (inside the cathedral grounds) many traditional stalls along with a mixture of quality hats, clothes drinks and loads of food choices.

Winchester High Street (pedestrianised) loads more stalls and well decorated with tasteful street lights.

Best of all? Open every day (10am-6pm weekdays, 10am-8pm Friday/Saturday) so not rammed at all. Nice buzzing atmosphere and no queues or crowds anywhere.

Absolutely recommended 👍

We had a couple of days there last month. Did the grandsons birthday and Christmas presents while there.

We go to the Xmas market every year, always enjoyable but can get busy at the weekends (as you'd expect). Friday is a good day to go as the weekly market is also in the high street. My only complaints this year are that the flooring is very uneven, a lot of trip hazards for people who don't pick their feet up like my elderly mum, and the Gluhwein was an extortionate price.

Has anyone stayed in the coach park in Winchester for this? We are heading to the Christmas market on Friday evening and I'm hoping we can get in there so I can have a few beers.
