wifi problem

Using RWG sim wifi hotspot from phone is very fast over 48Mbps but laptop is slow on the hotpsot only gettin 1.7Mbps now it was much faster before

any ideas

Could it be that the laptop is doing one of the many many updates they need these days. Mine took nearly a day to complete all the downloads it needed.

I checked all updates are not running so its not that ,,

Perhaps your phone can’t cope with converting the incoming phone signal and retransmitting it as WiFi any faster. It also has to receive the WiFi signal from your laptop convert that to phone signal and transmit that.

At Lincoln show - late night time (RWG /EE) = 25mbps. Day time only 2 to 4mbps.
i.e. number of active users on same network in same location?
