On a nice free aire in Monpazier just us and a German van that came in about tea time. We were woken at midnight as he trundled his cassette to the dump in pitch black why he didn't do it earlier is a mystery. Then this morning he lets his dog run around pi***ng and sh***ing over the grass where someone is going to park while he in his pajamas pi**es up the fence of a neighbouring house, WHY? I know he has an empty cassette. He had gone when we got back off a walk but his doggy deposits were left as a parting gift WHY???

Some people just have no manners..... I expect he didn't want to dirty his clean cassette before he got to next place or home/storage. No excuse tho .... possibly shared a brain cell with the dog and they were not sure who was holding it that day xx

If I was leaving I would have done and have done many times in the past for various misdemeanor, but as we were going out I didn't want to leave the van with a reprimanded Deutschlander.
 
Another small WHY, because all the French seem to do it, but we are the only ones here room for about eighteen vans, a French van has just arrived and they have parked right next to us 😡 I'm not really antisocial but if space is available I like to make use of it.
 
No excuses for the dirty twat , but I believe French guy who arrived and parked so close this happens a lot,
I believe they fill it’s safer in numbers and park close to other vans . ?
 
Last year we were leaving a French site and I stopped the van at the motorhome service point. Stepped out of the cab straight onto a log of dog sh1t 😆 I can laugh now but I was fuming at the time, especially as it could have been easily rinsed away with the hose pipe

I haven't had many run ins with Germans but plenty with the French but strangely not many when they are in France and not just in a motorhome environment I've had confrontations with them in China Egypt and Ecuador as well as Europe.

Very loud heavy metal music with all your doors and windows open makes them move.
But doesn't work with the Spanish, louder the better for them.

I was in a large open space aire all on my own once in France and around tea time a French van parked right next to me 3-4 feet away along side.. they went out so I move across the car park and shut up shop for the night.. opened the blinds in the morning and yes you’ve guessed it they were parked right next to me again… 😆🤣

We were in one, the only ones there, German van came in and parked right over the other side, French van came in and parked right beside me couldn't even park straight front end of his van was 2ft from mine, couldn't move in the middle of cooking dinner, then another one came in and parked the other side of me. 🤢

Been on any empty beach in France a French family come along and plonk themselfs down close enough to touch them.

Don't forget the urinals, if there is a row of them we will always go to one away from other men if there is room, not the French they will stand next to you.

Something went wrong when they dished our their brains. 🤣

There's obviously something in the French psyche that makes them stressed if they're out on their own. Would love to know why they do this, we've experienced it several times. Maybe they're frightened of being isolated? Maybe it's a sign of affection, no idea.
 
In reply to the original post...it's a waste of time trying to educate some folk...if they cannot see what they are doing as being wrong, what you say to them cannot be understood as being wrong also..You cannot reason with people that have this make up...SCUMBAGS..😡
 
Another one is the French seem to like having table, chairs and a built BBQ out the front of the house where they then entertain so everyone can watch!
Maybe it’s an insecurity thing, they know we don’t like them so they’re showing off!
 
We also don't understand the mentality of the scumbags who fly tip household rubbish in an otherwise pristine spot, sometimes kilometres along a bumpy track in the middle of nowhere. In Spain there are waste bins everywhere and they must have passed dozens, but no! They drive for ages to leave it on a lovely well tended almond terrace 🤬

I have plenty of punk, grunge music to play them as it's what I'm into, I also have a cd that I got free in a Fast Ford magazine that is thumping bass and very repetitive which has often done the trick when they think it's ok to park close open their door and put the tv or radio on 😡 I don't understand the looks I get as if I'm the one in the wrong 🙄

On the odd occasion we have had vans not just French but other nationalities park next to us clock the number plate and move, it confuses them initially being left hand drive.
