Why is my car not selling

I think it depends on the local council's attitude, ours got fed up when the same guy was parking ½ doz or more cars along the road with for sale signs on them. Police put unauthorised trading signs on them saying they would be removed in 7 days.
It's legal if you get a street traders licence for it but I don't think you would have much luck with that.
I dont think the law applies to private sales. Mine are always parked on what is part of my garden.

There's the difference.... Your garden is not a public street.
There's one particular street here which almost always has at least one for sale.
We named the seller 'curbside motors Ltd'

Younger people have shifted to face ache for buying but it’s the price for me for this vehicle - best of luck

Thanks everybody for the replies they are appreciated. It was bought as a project direct from the ins co. Salvage today is making a fortune, I paid £1250 for the car plus parts to repair it. Without taking my labour into account it stands at roughly £2200-00. The damage to this car could have been done in a car park and really should not have been written off. We fitted new tyres and MOT tested it then my wife drove it 600 miles so its had a good testing. Thanks John
