Why has my travel thread been deleted?

I was writing, and posting photographs, during our recent trip through Spain and Portugal and was delighted to receive lots of responses. However the thread - Birds, beer and bbqs - has apparently been deleted with no explanation.
I've sent four messages asking why, and whether I have been deemed to have done something wrong, but I haven't received any replies, which seems odd, to say the least.
If anyone has any explanation it would be gratefully received!

I asked if it was possible to delete a couple of photos several days after I'd posted them and the whole thread then disappeared!

Check the original posting to see if the photos are still there they might still be!
