They are all around the 5-7k range, and I was wondering what the expensive part or parts of it are?

Is it the labour to install, the cost of the "bits", or just that market forces allow a premium to be charged?

Genuinely curious.

It's a 2 to 3 day job to install and every one would be different for pipe runs etc. but it starts with motorhome so rip off prices has something to do with it. Same with air ride systems, parts, and anything else that starts with motorhome 😀

Did mine in a day. 5k but now over 6k so no chance on our current van.

Had ours done in a day, along with rear air suspension and gaslow bottle. Dropped off at 8am, picked up at 4pm.

Mind I only got the semi air, no gauges. So that reduced the work involved to the bellows and pipework at the back.

1 to 1½ days for semi air in an Al-Ko.
And a heck of a lot more work than on fiat chassis.
Fiat ones in under 3hrs by average fitters.

John.

PS which chassis is your new van on Lenny 35 or 37l?

How do you tell if they drop pressure?
