Thats what pits are forFrom my experience on the spanner’s it looks nice and easy to get at anything on top of the engine but the service items like filters, belts etc are still a crawl underneath job.
Its a lot easier than most A class. All I do when it goes in for maintenance is pull out the mats and put a couple of old quilt covers down. This morning I wanted to tighten up the belts, I know when the main one is going because the belt squeals when I put the retarder on but actually the other two needed a bit more tension as well.Aye oily hands and overalls inside your lovely clean camper lol. Not to mention spending the time on your knees banging your head on the table everytime you move . ...and having to climb in and out the hab door with mucky boots
Still bloody awkward to work on .
As they say Gary " I have dust in places I didn't even know I had"Fair bit of Moroccan dust in there Jon…![]()
