Hi Guys

Looking to go back to the highlands next year and would like to add a couple of whiskey distilleries to the trip.
any recommendations for distilleries which allow overnight stop-overs?
Thanks

Was at Tomatin distillery last week near Aviemore and if you ask them then they may let you stop in the car park, or there are a couple of layby's near the distillery that could be used. We went on the Single Malt tasting package with them and was close to 3 hours for the tour and tasting. We got to taste 5 single malts from different casks including one which was £850 per bottle. We got to try a couple of additional ones so ended up with 7 tastings and they weren't stingy with the measure. For £50 I thought it was great value, but everything was great after all that Whisky. The tour round the distillery is really good too.

I’m not sure about specific overnight stops, but I’ve visited several distilleries in Speyside and I’m sure if you asked permission most would oblige. They tend to be quite spacious sites. There’s quite a few distilleries on the Scotland NorthEast 250 route.

A lot have very secure perimeter fences and heavy duty locked gates at night..
Doubt they would be happy to have stopovers if car park within boundary fence..
